Educational resource
The complete borehole drilling process.
Twenty documented stages take a borehole from a first conversation to a handed-over water supply — and a maintenance programme that keeps it running. This is the whole sequence, published in full.
The lifecycle
Every borehole follows the same documented lifecycle.
The sequence never changes, because the geology does. We survey before we drill, we test the yield before we size the pump, and we hand over the paperwork that proves it.
Stages 01 to 05 establish whether there is water and what it will cost. Stages 06 to 09 cover permissions, mobilisation and the drilling itself. Stages 10 to 14 build the borehole out and prove its capacity. Stages 15 to 20 install the equipment, connect the supply and keep it performing. Each stage has its own record, and each record travels with the borehole.
